Ministries

Converge Northeast supports and partners with different ministries in our own backyard and around the world.

The Underground

The Underground is a grassroots, faith-based initiative dedicated to end sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in Connecticut. Through monthly prayer meetings, educational events and targeted training, God has opened doors to strategic partnerships and ministry opportunities. If you would like more information, email theundergroundct@gmail.com, or check out out their website.

Nordic-Baltic Partnership

For centuries the Nordic-Baltic countries had vibrant, growing Christian communities. But political censure and cultural drifting in these nations dimmed the light of Christ to near darkness. Today, for every person in a committed relationship with Christ, 71 are not. We are called to reach out to these brothers and sisters to reintroduce them to a life empowered by a belief in the risen Christ. Dr. Ron Larson coordinates teams to lead training and development, youth ministry, family counseling and other activities for our Estonian churches. To learn more about this ministry, email Dr. Larson: larson-ron@sbcglobal.net.

Haitian Ministry Expansion Team

The Haitian Ministry Expansion Team (HMET) serves the Converge Northeast Haitian churches and ministries, as well as in partnership with churches in Haiti. HMET offers programs such as the School of Church Leadership, a training program authored by the Timothy Initiative curriculum team, and missions trips to Haiti throughout the year. Contact Dr. Brent Allen to learn how you can be involved: brent@convergenortheast.org.

The Timothy Initiative

The Timothy Initiative (TTI) is an international church planting organization which was established with the purpose to train and equip “Timothys” (pastors/church planters) for rapid church multiplication. TTI specifically targets church planters throughout Asia, Africa and the Americas, who lack the means and/or availability to receive a balanced biblical and theological training. Each church planter trained is expected to plant at least one multiplying and reproducing church in their region. Learn more about how you can plant a reproducing church.
